The Oxford International Model United Nations (OxIMUN) is our very own prestigious MUN conference held each year in November. We will welcome over 700 delegates for this year’s conference. OxIMUN offers delegates the unique opportunity to discuss and debate key world issues, listen to some illustrious guest speakers, and meet new people from all across the globe in the rich cultural environment that only one of oldest universities in the world can provide.
The conference is open to all individuals or delegations currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. OUUNA members who wish to get involved can get involved as delegate or volunteer at the conference. If you wish to take part as a delegate, please register your interest by clicking https://goo.gl/BZi31e no later than Friday 13th October here . The participation fee for OUUNA members is just £50! – a 50% discount on the usual participation fee.
You do not need any experience of Model United Nations to take part, and OUUNA will be organising training sessions on Tuesdays at 19:30-21:00 in weeks 2, 3 and 4 specifically for those of you who will be taking part in OxIMUN and want to learn about MUN before participating. If you are accepted as a delegate, you will be assigned a committee (such as DISEC, UNHCR and UNDP) and a country (Pakistan, Ethiopia, Italy and Morocco amongst others).
